I like. Can I ask though; what is your definition of "path" in this statement from the post?
Your path doesn’t need to look like anyone else’s in order to be true.
I would argue that a Kundalini awakening is recognisable in different people because of a shared "path" which is walked by us all. Maybe one's practises are different but the journey is a shared set of steps as a human being experience.
Hey Laziliez, thank you for reading, and for the thoughtful question.
I've been chewing on it all weekend, and...
When I say "your path doesn't have to look like anyone else's in order to be true," I'm pointing to the visible shape the awakening process takes: which practices one is drawn to, how the energy expresses, what terrain must be moved through in order to clear the channel and allow the serpent to rise. That part... the aesthetic, the pace, the portals... can differ wildly. When I reflect on what my path (in that sense) looked like, I cannot fathom anyone else's looking the same. What I experienced feels far too 'me' coded.
However!
I agree that there's something grander, more archetypal underneath. A shared skeleton, if you will. The serpent always rises through the spine. The fire always burns away what isn't true. Old skins must be shed. One's system must be rewired to hold more charge.
These bigger picture elements do seem universal, regardless of how they're dressed.
Perhaps a clarified explanation would be: the rituals differ, but the rewiring is shared.
Thanks again for reading, and for the reflection. Much appreciated :)
